The Academic Affairs Management Department is responsible for the construction and enrollment of postgraduate base, the selection and training of graduate student supervisors, the construction and operation of residents standardized training base, the reception of visiting students and interns, the application and implementation of continuing medical education, the teaching of clinical skills training center, the management of student dormitory, the management of electronic reading room, etc.

Our hospital was approved as Chongqing residents standardized training base in 2012 and the second batch of national residents standardized training base in 2017. Currently, there are 5 national level professional bases in for resident doctors, which are: radiation oncology, anesthesiology, ultrasound medicine, nuclear medicine and laboratory medicine; 8 municipal level professional bases, which are internal medicine, surgery, emergency department, orthopedics, pathology, radiology, surgery (neurosurgery direction) and surgery (urology direction).

Clinical skills training center was founded in 2012, now covers an area of 1100 ㎡ (indoor floor area of 774 ㎡), and has set up simulation clinic, specialized skills training room, endoscopic skills training room, surgical skills training room, internal medicine skills training room, first aid skills training room, nursing skills training room, simulation ward, theoretical training room, remote teaching room, general office, and warehouses. Work management system has been established, together with safety management system and staff responsibilities. The center now has more than 270 models of various teaching and training equipment, which can carry out training and assessment of various skills such as tracheal intubation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, comprehensive puncture, cardiopulmonary auscultation, surgical basic skill operation, diagnosis teaching, specialized examination, endoscopic operation, nursing operation, radiotherapy target area sketch, etc.
