New Release|the 2024 Edition of "Screening and Prevention Guide for Common Malignant Tumors Among Residents of Chongqing" Released Officially by CUCH
This year, April 15th to 21st marks the 30th Anti-Cancer Week, with the theme "Comprehensive Measurement, Scientific Cancer Prevention", aiming to raise public awareness and knowledge of cancer prevention.
On the morning of April 12th, under the guidance of the Chongqing Health Commission, the 2024 Chongqing National Cancer Prevention and Control Promotion Week was launched in Yubei District, Chongqing. The event was hosted by Chongqing University Cancer Hospital and the Chongqing Cancer Prevention and Control Office. During the launch ceremony, the Chongqing Cancer Center and Chongqing University Cancer Hospital jointly released the "Screening and Prevention Guide for Common Malignant Tumors Among Residents of Chongqing (2024 Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide 2024 Edition"). This guide combines the actual situation in Chongqing, targeting 25 common malignant tumors such as lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, cervical cancer, and thyroid cancer. It analyzes high-risk groups, proposes warning signals, and provides screening suggestions.
Unlike previous versions, the "Guide 2024 Edition" has been upgraded based on the high-risk groups and screening recommendations for the original 25 types of cancers. A new "warning signal" section has been added to help people identify the "cancer signals" emitted by their bodies in daily life. This allows the general public to more fully grasp the core knowledge of tumor prevention and treatment, and helps citizens achieve early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
