The Department of Endocrinology and Nephrology formally became an independent department in 2019, which integrates medical treatment, scientific research, and teaching. The department is composed of a ward, a blood purification center, and an equipment examination room, and is a professional department consisting of diagnosis, treatment, and hospitalization. Currently, a national standardized metabolic disease management center is being built. There are 53 beds in the ward, with advanced equipment: real-time dynamic insulin pump, dynamic blood glucose monitor, dual-energy X-ray bone density detector, blood gas analyzer, body fat analyzer, ophthalmoscope, peripheral blood vessel diagnostic system, sensory nerve quantification Examination instrument, neurovascular treatment instrument, percutaneous partial oxygen pressure, diabetic foot diagnostic toolbox, osteoporosis treatment instrument, hemodialysis machine, ECG monitoring, microinfusion pump, etc., which provide reliable technology for the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine and renal disease.
The department has a unique diabetes education team, a blood glucose management team, a diabetic foot wound management team, an endocrine and metabolic critical disease management team and a kidney disease team. The current diagnosis and treatment items include: diabetes and its acute and chronic complications ( Hypertonic state, diabetic foot, diabetic nephropathy, peripheral nerve / vascular disease and diabetic retinopathy, etc.), thyroid disease (including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroiditis, thyroid nodules, etc.), osteoporosis, gout, dyslipidemia , Obesity, electrolyte disorders, pituitary diseases, adrenal diseases, sexual developmental diseases, acute and chronic nephritis, acute and chronic renal failure, urinary tract infections, etc., especially in combination with the oncology department in the hospital, forming the unique diagnosis and treatment of tumor-related endocrine nephropathy, synchronizing with the advanced diagnosis and treatment technologies at home or abroad.
