Department of Vascular and Interventional Surgery

The Department of Vascular and Interventional Surgery is the first comprehensive tumor treatment specialty that integrates tumor intervention and vascular surgery. With the self-created MDT team model, the department provides more minimally invasive and effective treatment methods for the majority of cancer patients, including: Iodine 125 particle implantation, argon-helium cryotherapy, radiofrequency / microwave tumor ablation therapy, vascular embolization therapy, arterial infusion therapy, etc. The Department focuses on liver cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic tumor, kidney cancer, retroperitoneal tumor, biliary malignant tumor, hemangioma, Benign and malignant tumors of the chest and abdomen such as skin cancer, gynecological tumors, and cancer pain relief. The Department has the most advanced CT / DSA digital integrated compound operating room in China. It is the first in the Chongqing to launch portal vein stent / particle stent to treat portal vein cancer thrombus, biliary stent / particle stent, improved percutaneous liver puncture biliary drainage (PTCD) to remove obstruction. Jaundice, portal hypertension, Budd-Chiari syndrome, minimally invasive treatment of refractory ascites, and TIPSS is also in a leading position. The prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, the placement of inferior vena cava filters, surgical treatment of visceral and surface hemangiomas, leiomyomatosis of the inferior vena cava, and vascular leiomyosarcoma were performed. Minimally invasive surgery, vascular repair and reconstruction, and vascular graft transplantation, arterial occlusive disease, aortic aneurysm, arterial dissection, endovascular treatment of various visceral aneurysms, varicose veins of the lower limbs, primary venous insufficiency, various lymph Diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases such as tube tumors and lymphedema.

At present, the professional diagnosis and treatment groups in the general department are: tumor intervention group, tumor ablation group, emergency hemostasis group, stent treatment group, vascular anastomosis transplantation group, and vascular lumen treatment group. There are 8 medical staff in the Department, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians, and 6 postgraduates. The doctors have many years of rich clinical experience in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, chest surgery, vascular surgery and imaging intervention. Staff members serve as a national member and member of the national and provincial medical associations, anti-cancer associations, medical promotion associations, anatomy society and other academic organizations. The team members have studied in Germany's Stralsund Hanseklinikum Hospital, Shanghai Oriental Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital, Shanghai Fudan Cancer Hospital, Beijing Air Force General Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital, etc.; they have undertaken a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and published more than 30 SCl academic papers. With the concept of "tumor constructive treatment mode", tumor interventional therapy center and vascular surgery can effectively treat tumor, at the same time, protect patients' physiological function, immune function and improve patients' quality of life to the greatest extent, which will bring good news for tumor patients.
