TCM Cancer Treatment Center
Established in the 1960s, the TCM Tumor Therapy Center is a state regional nurturing unit of TCM (oncology) diagnosis and treatment center, a "12th Five-Year Plan” key oncology specialty of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the national demonstration unit of traditional Chinese medicine, the key discipline construction unit of traditional Chinese medicine oncology in Chongqing, the clinical rehabilitation base of traditional Chinese medicine oncology in Chongqing, and the Cancer specialty of traditional Chinese Medicine in Chongqing，the "May First Women Model" and "Women Civilization Station" in Chongqing. There are 120 approved beds and 150 open beds in the inpatient wards of Chinese Medicine hospital, TCM oncology department and TCM rehabilitation department.
Since the construction of TCM tumor specialty in 2009, efforts have been made to explore the "Traditional Chinese medicine mode" of tumor prevention and treatment. Adhering to the essence of traditional Chinese medicine, combining traditional Chinese medicine theory with clinical practice, attaching equal importance to both Chinese and Western medicine, under the guidance of the overall concept of "people-oriented", Wang Wei, director of the center, for the first time in China, innovatively proposed the "6 in one" integrated mode of traditional Chinese medicine to prevent and treat tumors, that is, TCM syndrome differentiation application, TCM syndrome differentiation diet, TCM Meridian Health Preservation, TCM five element music, TCM psychology Six kinds of traditional therapies are combined with each other for comprehensive, systematic and continuous effective intervention, including prevention before disease, prevention after disease and recovery after scrofula, which runs through all links of tumor occurrence and development, so as to make tumor patients accept the whole process of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation comfortably and painlessly, recover their physical and mental health to the maximum extent, and improve their quality of life, expand the survival period.
The center has accumulated rich clinical experience in the treatment of advanced lung cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, malignant lymphoma, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and other diseases, and obtained better curative effect. It enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. The patients are all over the country, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as the United States, France, South Korea, Japan and other countries.
The center has strong technical force, with 71 medical staff, including 25 physicians. There are 6 positions in the world academic groups, 21 positions in the national academic groups, 15 positions in the municipal academic groups, 2 positions in Chongqing famous traditional Chinese medicine, 1 academic and technical leader in the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in Chongqing, 2 academic experience inheritance instructors for the national experts of traditional Chinese medicine, 4 academic experience successors for the national experts of traditional Chinese medicine, 3 masters student supervisors, 1 doctor and 19 masters.
In addition, the scientific research achievements of the center are abundant.
