The Department of Bone and Soft Tissue Oncology was founded in 1954. After nearly 50 years of exploration and innovation, the scale of the Department has kept growing. Based on the traditional characteristics of orthopedics, the department has formed a comprehensive treatment feature integrating surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and immunity, and has accumulated rich experience. As the only diagnosis and treatment center of bone and soft tissue tumor in Chongqing, the Department of bone and soft tissue tumor has a team with excellent technology and good medical ethics, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians and 4 attending physicians. Equipped with 1200 Ma X-ray machine, spiral CT, digital X-ray mobile C-arm imaging system, 1000 Ma digital vascular subtraction X-ray machine, super sensitive fine color Doppler and other advanced equipment, the department performs professional examination and accurate diagnosis of various spinal and limb tumors. In the long-term clinical work, following the discipline development, the department has created the unique diagnosis and treatment of various benign and malignant tumors of bone and soft tissue, as well as the bone injury, osteopathy and orthopedic geriatric diseases, which formed two advantages respectively.
